Concert Band

The Central Cambria Concert Band is under the direction of Mrs. Michelle Kokus.

 

Through ensemble playing, students are introduced to a variety of wind band literature to develop rhythmic, melodic and auditory skills; as well as to enhance technical skills on their instruments.

 

The concert band prepares and performs two public concerts each school year (December and May).

 

In addition, qualifying students may audition for Cambria County Band and PMEA sponsored festivals.

 

Concert band is offered as a full credit class or students may select the band audit or semester band option when scheduling.
